About The Position

At Raytheon, we are committed to helping our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. Our Microelectronics department is at the forefront of this mission, focusing on the design, fabrication, and testing of advanced Radio Frequency (RF) electronics products. This includes custom Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), circuit card assemblies (CCAs), and the firmware and software necessary to control Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESAs). We are currently seeking a highly motivated electrical engineering intern to join our Hardware Electronics Center in Dallas, Texas. This position is designed for graduate students who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, contributing to product development for defense applications. As an intern, you will primarily engage in the digital signal processing design and verification of high-performance FPGAs and ASICs. You will have the opportunity to understand and implement software (C/C++) in embedded FPGA applications, working collaboratively within an integrated product team to design and develop state-of-the-art system components. This role not only offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge technology but also allows you to contribute to meaningful projects that enhance national security. We value trust, respect, accountability, collaboration, and innovation in our work culture. As part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we embrace individuality and diverse perspectives, recognizing that they are essential to our mission. We encourage you to apply if you are passionate about engineering and eager to make a difference in the aerospace and defense industry.
