About the position
The Software Engineer Intern position at Textron Systems offers an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields to gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining software for advanced simulators and automated test equipment. Interns will work in a collaborative environment, enhancing their technical skills while contributing to innovative defense technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance and maintain software code for advanced simulators and/or automated test equipment.
- Design and maintain applications in various software languages.
- Work in a cross-functional team and laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C, C++, or C# programming languages.
- Knowledge of database applications and basic computer skills (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, presentation).
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
