About the position
The CRM Business Analyst Intern will be an integral part of the Textron Aviation CRM Team, which is dedicated to delivering innovative business solutions that empower the global sales, support, and marketing teams. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about leveraging technology to enhance customer and employee experiences. The primary focus of this role will be to utilize the Salesforce platform to address various business challenges through effective database design and automation tools. As part of the internship, the intern will engage in various projects aimed at enhancing existing Salesforce functionalities, delivering new features, and improving the overall user experience. This will involve automating business processes using the Salesforce user interface or coding, building applications on the Salesforce platform while adhering to database design best practices, and developing insightful reports and dashboards that align with business objectives. Additionally, the intern will document business processes through process mapping, build, test, and deploy code within the Salesforce platform, and collaborate with other developers to brainstorm and write code effectively. Responsibilities
- Work on project teams to enhance existing Salesforce functionality, deliver new features, and improve user experience.
- Automate business processes using either the Salesforce UI or code.
- Build applications on the Salesforce platform using database design best practices and automation tools.
- Develop reports and dashboards in Salesforce to support business objectives.
- Document business processes through process mapping.
- Build, test, and deploy code within the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with other developers for brainstorming and writing code.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related technical field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM solutions preferred.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language preferred.
- Understanding of relational databases and using SQL to create complex data sets.
- Ability to identify relevant information and explain technical information to a broad audience.
