About the position

Citi is seeking Summer Analysts to join the Risk Management team in Tampa. This internship program is designed to provide college students with a comprehensive understanding of risk management and its best practices, while allowing them to work on impactful projects within various risk teams. The program emphasizes professional development, mentorship, and the opportunity to build a long-term career at Citi.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging and impactful projects within the Risk Management team.
• Assess risk and develop business acumen related to risk management.
• Participate in foundational training sessions to promote professional development.
• Collaborate closely with management teams and receive mentorship from senior leaders.
• Engage in statistical analysis and data/modeling validation.
• Identify data quality issues and explore data for problem-solving.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM or quantitative related major, graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.3 or above.
• Demonstrate an interest in Risk Management.
• Possess strong data analytical skills and a strategic mindset.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• No requirement for sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or in the future.
