Full-time - Intern
Katy, TX
Miscellaneous Manufacturing

About the position

This summer, Peloton will be hosting our Summer 2025 Platform Data Management Internship Program. The purpose of the internship program is to provide students with a basic foundation of the oil and gas industry, and the role that data management technology and applications play in the process through initial industry training and two rotational periods between Peloton's Well Data Lifecycle and Production Data Lifecycle solutions' teams. We are confident that this will be a rewarding and educational experience in engineering students' field of study. As a Peloton Data Management Intern, our interns will become acquainted with Peloton product-lines through initial training and two 4-week rotational periods between our Well Data Lifecycle and Production Data Lifecycle teams. Interns will manage the input and consolidation of operator's data, develop an understanding of certain strategic business applications, processes, and database management systems (DBMS) used by oil and gas operators. They will gain insight on industry practices in the field with visit(s) to operator work sites, and will be exposed to real-life business and oil & gas industry practices by working alongside Peloton's implementation teams and attending meetings with Product Managers and executives. Additionally, interns will have opportunities to network with multinational operator engineers to review and consult on their data, and become familiar with oil and gas field terminology, as well as decision and risk analysis concepts by participating in industry courses and on-the-job training. Note that while we strive for at least one field site visit trip annually with Peloton's summer interns, the trips are subject to availability and other conditions.
