About the position

The Intern position at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits offers a comprehensive immersion into the wine and spirits industry, providing exposure to various career paths across Sales, Trade Development, Operations, Technology, and Corporate functions. This structured internship is designed to equip students with knowledge and understanding of the alcohol distribution industry while working with multiple teams to gain broad experience in marketing, sales, and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of teams to become familiar with all aspects of the company
• Participate in training, on-site meetings, and department-wide learning opportunities as available
• Assist with On-Premise Surveys
• Support the team with additional projects as assigned and defined by the student's specific learning goals
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of experience
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0
• Strong communication skills - written, verbal, persuasion, motivation, facilitation of strong working relationships
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and software applications related to job functions
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical/problem solving, problem management, presentation development, and communication skills
• Must be at least 21 years of age
