About the position

The Sales Leadership Development Program at Lutron Electronics is a comprehensive rotational training experience aimed at preparing associates for a successful career in consultative sales. This program focuses on developing future leaders by providing opportunities to explore various roles and business strategies within the company. Participants will engage in hands-on learning about Lutron's innovative lighting control technologies and will have the chance to build relationships with the executive team while contributing to the company's growth and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a comprehensive 7-month development experience in Pennsylvania
  • Actively learn about technology, products, sales strategies, and customer types
  • Travel to several major cities during the program on sales trips
  • Improve presentation skills through direct feedback from sales leaders
  • Build personal relationships with Lutron's executive team
  • Complete training and join one of the business segments as an outside salesperson and relocate to a major metropolitan market

Requirements

  • Completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 2.80
  • Technical degree or interest is preferred
  • Willingness to relocate and travel up to 50% once assigned to a territory
  • 0-3 years of professional working experience
