As a member of our engineering team, you will work on next-generation modules for vehicles. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a design team to implement circuits, validate circuit implementations, analyze and resolve hardware failures, and ensure that all projects meet Ford's quality standards while adhering to timelines and cost targets. You will be involved in designing high-speed digital circuits, conducting worst-case analyses, generating documentation, defining stress test routines, formulating test plans, and handling validation testing to ensure performance under various conditions. Additionally, you will participate in system design reviews and may be required to travel occasionally for project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an engineering team on next-generation vehicle modules.
  • Collaborate with a design team to implement circuits and validate circuit implementations.
  • Analyze and resolve hardware failures to meet quality and cost targets.
  • Design high-speed digital circuits to meet section requirements.
  • Use industry-standard schematic capture tools for circuit design.
  • Complete worst-case analysis of circuits in assigned areas.
  • Generate documentation related to circuit design and validation.
  • Define stress test routines to validate functional sections of circuits.
  • Formulate test plans to ensure component-level performance.
  • Conduct validation testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremes.
  • Complete root cause analysis and resolve issues in assigned sections.
  • Participate in system design reviews.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering at a sophomore level or higher, with an expected graduation date before January 2026.
