About the position

The 2025 Spring Intern in Human Resources (Talent Acquisition) at Frontier Airlines offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in airline operations within the HR department. This internship will involve working on various HR projects, providing support to employees and candidates, and assisting with the management of HR systems and processes. The internship is scheduled from January 13 to May 23, 2025, in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned HR department with various projects and functions as assigned.
  • Respond to requests made by employees, candidates, and members of leadership via email, phone, and in person.
  • Create and analyze Human Resources reports as designated.
  • Create and/or update HR presentations.
  • Complete assigned HR projects in a timely and professional manner.
  • Update and/or maintain data in HR systems.
  • Assist in the facilitation of HR meetings, including booking meeting rooms, creating agendas, and following up on action items.
  • Assist with filling and maintenance of HR records.
  • Become knowledgeable of all Frontier policies and departmental procedures and policies where intern performs work.
  • Assist with management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate tracking of applicant flow and data entry.
  • Assist with logistical details and requirements associated with interview scheduling.
  • Assist with completion of pre-employment screening and onboarding activities.
  • Assist with open houses, interviewing, and assessment administration.
  • Support the New Hire Coordinator with completion of pre-employment paperwork.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university (preferred).
  • Preference given to candidates pursuing a degree in human resources or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in customer service (preferred).
  • Possess excellent office and communication skills.
  • Must have working knowledge of PCs and MS Office software including Word and Excel.

Benefits

  • Hourly pay based on class year: Freshman - $18.50, Sophomore - $19.50, Junior - $20.50, Senior - $21.50, Graduate Program - $23.50.
