Ares Management is seeking a highly motivated and meticulous individual to join our Investor Relations & Product Management teams as a Summer Analyst Intern. This role is designed for undergraduate students who are passionate about investments and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Investor Relations and Product Specialists focused on our Direct Lending Credit business. The position will involve providing investor relations support, which includes both written and oral communications with investors, as well as conducting market and competitor research and analysis. The responsibilities of the Summer Analyst will include supporting the Investor Relations Team by providing information and expertise on firm strategies and funds to clients and marketing teams. The intern will assist in the production of presentations for investors and internal constituencies, conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decision-making and investor communications, and support strategic projects for new business development initiatives across the firm. Additionally, the intern will be involved in fundraising for private funds across various platforms, reporting and handling transactional data to third-party providers, and developing strong working relationships with internal subject matter experts across the firm, including portfolio management, marketing, investor relations, operations, legal, compliance, and human resources. The role also emphasizes the importance of streamlining processes by crafting more efficient methods of gathering, sorting, and accessing data, ensuring consistency of data and other information across all materials. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in the investment management industry while contributing to the success of Ares Management.
