About the position

The Application Engineer Intern will assist the engineering and production team in creating an automated test platform, improving the efficiency and reliability of production testing. Additionally, the intern will focus on improving the test procedure through research and implementation and gain hands-on experience throughout the internship, as the intern obtains key knowledge of the business and the high voltage, transmission, and distribution industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop test platform that will increase production efficiency and throughput
• Add production test steps to test electric grid automation system
• Other job duties as assigned to support engineering and production

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing BS in Electric Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or other relevant degree
• 0-3 years of experience
• Programming experience is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
• Eager to learn and communicate with the team
