About the position

The Spectrum Internship Program is a full-time, 10-week commitment designed for motivated rising seniors pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems. This program offers hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and mentorship, aimed at providing essential business insights and skills necessary for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Participate in department and team-focused projects, accounting for about 80% of the schedule.
• Engage in professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference, webinars, community service, and final presentations, making up the remaining 20% of the schedule.
• Familiarize with the user-centered design process, including research, design, prototyping, presentation, and soliciting feedback.
• Share a portfolio showcasing usable and lovable designs that demonstrate an understanding of user-centered design methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited College or University graduating with a bachelor's degree between December 2025 - May 2026.
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
