About the position
The 2025 Summer Intern position in the Law Department at State Farm offers law students the chance to gain hands-on experience in civil litigation. Interns will collaborate with experienced attorneys, participate in meaningful projects, and observe the litigation process, all while receiving mentorship and training in a supportive environment. This full-time internship runs from May 19, 2025, to August 1, 2025, and is designed to help interns develop essential legal skills and professional connections.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with attorneys on assigned projects.
- Attend case events and observe the litigation process.
- Gain a balanced understanding of the function of Claims Litigation Counsel.
- Develop real-world civil litigation skills.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled 2L student in an ABA accredited law school.
- Strong academic credentials preferred.
- Strong research skills, including familiarity with Lexis preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately.
