About the position

The 2025 Summer Intern - Marketing Creative Content position at State Farm offers students the chance to gain hands-on experience in the marketing and advertising field. Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to significant projects, and engage in the daily operations of a Fortune 50 company. This internship emphasizes creative development, strategic planning, and the execution of advertising campaigns across various media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Creative Content team to develop and produce advertising campaigns for online and broadcast distribution.
  • Participate in strategic definition, planning, prioritization, and execution of sales and marketing tactics.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external creative/media agencies to develop strategic plans and execute marketing tactics.
  • Plan and execute marketing programs that may include Mass Media, One to One, Digital, and Content Creation/Management.
  • Analyze market conditions, customer insights, and develop marketing forecasts and estimates.
  • Create and produce marketing communications and promotional materials for marketing projects.
  • Coordinate and develop communication strategies and tactical messages for target audiences.
  • Optimize marketing programs and tactics to maximize budgets and objectives.
  • Research and draft recommendations regarding current issues and potential trends.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program with a graduation date of August 2025 or later.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Critical thinking and resourcefulness in problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or coursework in Marketing or Advertising.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics.

Benefits

  • Hourly rate of $28.00 based on a 38.75-hour work week.
  • $2,000 stipend for selected interns.
