About the position
The 2025 Summer Internship for Product Strategy Analyst at PIMCO offers undergraduate students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment management. Interns will work closely with the Product Strategy Group, engaging in various responsibilities that enhance their understanding of financial markets, product design, and client communication. This internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience, including training, mentorship, and networking opportunities, while contributing to PIMCO's mission of delivering superior investment returns and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market and economic updates
- Prepare portfolio commentaries
- Assist in portfolio construction and analysis
- Gather competitor intelligence
- Create client presentation materials
- Analyze risk and performance attribution
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or applied science
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Willingness to work in Newport Beach, CA
- Ability to begin full-time employment between January 2026 - August 2026
