About the position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking an intern for the Audit Support Office (ASO) to assist in creating innovative audit practices and technology enablement support services. The intern will work on developing a PowerBI dashboard and a customer-facing PowerApp to streamline project management and enhance stakeholder engagement. This role is crucial for supporting the audit community and contributing to the efficiency of the Federal Reserve System.

Responsibilities

• Create a PowerBI dashboard with automated insights into activities related to different phases of a project (Peer Review).
• Develop a customer-facing PowerApp to consolidate inputs and resources, manage data parsing, and facilitate the creation of project deliverables.
• Ensure the dashboard and PowerApp are easily maintainable with clearly defined exportable options for records.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in an academically rigorous curriculum.
• Commitment to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.
• Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI, Python or other programming languages, and SharePoint.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical skills including working with databases.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Great work ethic and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working across time zones to complete projects in a timely manner.
