This internship offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in an industrial environment, working closely with Trex engineers and production operations personnel. As a Controls Engineering Intern, you will be expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment while engaging in various engineering tasks. Interns will primarily focus on completing AutoCAD work, with a preference for 3D design, to assist in part design and implementation. Additionally, you will conduct equipment reviews and reliability inspections, documenting your findings and reporting them to the engineering team. This role is designed to provide you with practical experience in the field of engineering, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting while contributing to the innovative projects at Trex.
