About the position

Trex Company, the world's number one decking and railing brand, is excited to announce its 2025 Summer Internship Program for Process Engineering. This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in an accredited chemical or mechanical engineering program. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in an industrial environment, gaining hands-on experience while collaborating with Trex engineers and production operations personnel. Interns will be expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment while performing their duties. During the internship, you will engage in various tasks including completing AutoCAD (3D preferred) work for part design and implementation, conducting equipment reviews, performing reliability inspections, and reporting findings. You will also assist engineers with routine tasks, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering processes within the company. This role is ideal for those who are comfortable using computers and are eager to learn in a dynamic setting. Responsibilities

  • Complete AutoCAD (3D preferred) work for part design and implementation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited chemical or mechanical engineering program.
  • Successfully completed at least two semesters of coursework.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above.
