About the position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking interns to support the FBO/Country Risk Monitoring Team and Examinations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the stability and efficiency of the U.S. economy and financial system while gaining valuable experience in a prestigious financial organization. Interns will engage in research, prepare reports, and assist with administrative duties, all while working in a dynamic hybrid workplace environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FBO/Country Risk Monitoring Team and Examinations.
• Perform research and prepare weekly Country Monitoring Reports.
• Assist on offsite examinations.
• Handle general administrative duties.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program.
• Minimum cumulative GPA above 3.0 in an academically rigorous curriculum.
• Commitment to working a 40-hour work week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

Nice-to-haves

• Preferred majors include Finance/Accounting, Economics, International Business/Relations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
