About the position
The internship at Zebra Technologies is designed to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a comprehensive understanding of the various functions within the organization. Interns will gain valuable experience through training, exposure to different business areas, social activities, and mentorship, all aimed at helping them envision a successful career with Zebra.
Responsibilities
- Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
- Increase technology knowledge and skills
- Develop team-based work proficiencies
- Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow-up activities
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree program
- Must have a status of Sophomore, Junior or Senior while in undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date between 2026 through 2027
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CAD modeling using Creo preferred
- Knowledge of various manufacturing techniques
- Experience in creating/innovating in product design
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Proven leadership and excellence in professional, academic, and/or extracurricular experiences
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
