About the position

The internship at Zebra Technologies is designed to prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a comprehensive understanding of various functions within the organization. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the Robotics Automation Applications team, focusing on developing software solutions for Autonomous Mobile Robots. This hybrid role offers opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and exposure to real-world projects, all while working in a collaborative environment that values diversity and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop planning, organizational and leadership skills
• Increase technology knowledge and skills
• Develop team-based work proficiencies
• Develop interpersonal skills to connect with day-to-day business contacts through follow-up activities
• Select from a set of relevant projects for Summer 2025 related to robotic Fulfillment solutions.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or graduate degree program in Computer Engineering/ Computer Science.
• Anticipated graduation date between May 2025-December 2026 for undergraduate programs and 2025 to 2026 for graduate programs.
• Experience/ prior internship in Full Stack Development and experience with JavaScript is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work in the San Jose, CA office a minimum of three days a week.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Full stack development using React / React Native, Golang and Async programming is highly desired.
• Experience with databases like SQL/ Postgres SQL or Redis will be highly desired.
• Ability to work with and understand complex systems will be highly desired.
• Good communicator, self-motivated, and critical thinking skills.
