About the position

As an audio journalism intern at Bloomberg Industry Group, you will assist in producing topical, news-focused podcast episodes. The role involves making complex legal, tax, and government topics engaging through well-researched audio content. You will contribute to various stages of podcast production, including pitching ideas, research, guest coordination, and collaboration with reporters and editors across news desks.

Requirements

• Podcasts you have written, recorded, and edited to submit with your application.
• A drive to produce great audio journalism.
• Ability to pitch, research, and write scripts for podcasts.
• Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.
• Willingness to collaborate with reporters and editors.
• Completed at least three years of an undergraduate program with an audio journalism focus or be enrolled in a graduate journalism program focusing on audio journalism and production.
• Prior experience in audio journalism.
• Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
