About the position

As an audio journalism intern at Bloomberg Industry Group, you will assist in producing topical, news-focused podcast episodes that make complex legal, tax, and government topics engaging through well-researched audio content. This role involves contributing to various stages of podcast production, including idea pitching, research, guest coordination, and collaboration with reporters and editors across news desks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing topical, news-focused podcast episodes.
• Conduct research to make complex topics engaging.
• Coordinate with guests for podcast episodes.
• Collaborate with reporters and editors across news desks.
• Pitch ideas for podcast episodes.
• Edit and record audio content for podcasts.

Requirements

• Prior experience with audio recording and editing software.
• Experience in podcast production.
• Ability to pitch, research, and write scripts for podcasts.
• Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.
• Completed at least three years of an undergraduate program focused on audio journalism or enrolled in a graduate journalism program with an audio focus.
• Ability to work within a team under deadline pressure.
