About the position

As a video journalism intern at Bloomberg Industry Group, you will assist in producing engaging explainer and feature videos focused on complex legal, tax, and government topics. This role involves contributing to various stages of video production, including idea pitching, research, and collaboration with reporters and editors, all while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing topical, news-focused explainer and feature videos.
• Contribute to various stages of video production, including pitching ideas and research.
• Collaborate with reporters and editors across news desks.
• Engage with senior leaders and expert professionals at Bloomberg Industry Group.
• Participate in charitable activities.

Requirements

• Prior video journalism experience, including comfort with cameras and editing software.
• Ability to pitch, research, and write scripts for enterprise videos.
• Desire to interview industry leaders and policymakers.
• Willingness to collaborate with a team under deadline pressure.
• Completed at least three years of an undergraduate program with a video journalism focus or be enrolled in a graduate journalism program that focuses on video journalism and production.
• Videos you have shot, written, and produced to submit with your application.
