About the position

The Video Production Manager for the 2025 Summer season at Waterloo Bucks Baseball is responsible for overseeing video production operations during the baseball season. This role includes managing interns, training staff, and ensuring high-quality video broadcasts for home games. The position requires participation in pre-season training and ongoing communication with the General Manager and the Northwoods League (NWL).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in NWL training, certification, and teleconferences related to the Videocast platform.
  • Participate in Video Board training with both Bucks and Cedar Rapids Kernels.
  • Occasionally travel to Cedar Rapids for in-game video board production and management.
  • Assist in equipment checks with NWL as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the General Manager and NWL.
  • Manage and train Video Production Interns and Camera Operators during the season.
  • Schedule all Videocast Directors and Camera Operators.
  • Communicate scheduling and hours worked with the General Manager.
  • Attend all Waterloo Bucks home games as the Video Board Operator and oversee the NWLTV broadcast.
  • Maintain equipment throughout the season.
  • Elevate in-game Video Board operations and promotions.
  • Assist staff with post-season tear-down and equipment check.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in video production and management preferred.
  • Ability to train and manage interns and staff effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with management and league officials.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with NWL Videocast platform.
  • Familiarity with camera operation and video board production.
