About the position

The Electrical Engineer position within the Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) team at Raytheon focuses on integrating, verifying, and validating products to ensure they meet performance standards. The role involves designing and building test environments for missile systems, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and supporting tactical software development and testing. This is an onsite position based in Tucson, Arizona, aimed at early career professionals with a background in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary, fast-paced team that supports multiple products.
• Support electrical engineering efforts such as design, development, and integration of missile flight simulation systems.
• Develop technical drawings and schematics.
• Conduct circuit design and analysis.
• Develop test interfaces, including adapters and cabling.
• Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) or a related STEM degree.
• 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting.

Nice-to-haves

• Internship experience in an engineering role supporting electrical design.
• Experience with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, or equivalent.
• Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
• Experience performing advanced FPGA firmware development (VHDL or Verilog).
• Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnect.
