About the position

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is offering summer 2025 internship opportunities in our Global Supply Chain department. This 10-week internship program starts on May 28th and runs through August 8th, providing students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management. Interns will be exposed to leadership, professional development, and networking events, allowing them to connect with peers and industry professionals throughout the program. The internship will take place in a hybrid work environment, with interns expected to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Ewing, NJ. Interns will have the chance to participate in a Summer Speaker Series featuring executive leadership, providing insights into the company's operations and strategic direction. Additionally, interns will engage in a Final Capstone Presentation with leadership, showcasing their projects and learnings from the internship. For those whose residential address is greater than 30 miles from the work site, a housing stipend will be provided to assist with living expenses during the internship. Students are encouraged to apply for one overall Operations internship position, which will make them eligible for opportunities within various departments, including Customer Logistics, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Strategy, LEAN Manufacturing, Transportation, Procurement, and Global Manufacturing Services. Candidates should be open to assignments in any of these areas, as the internship is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the supply chain function within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Support initiatives to drive operational excellence through Lean manufacturing principles in all Church & Dwight's manufacturing and distribution center sites across the globe.
  • Assist with account and/or project support in Customer Logistics, executing against performance targets such as case fill, order fill, and on-time delivery.
  • Work independently and in cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions based on analytical assessments in Supply Chain Planning.
  • Conduct industry and market research to enable data-driven purchasing decisions as part of the Procurement Team.
  • Engage and qualify suppliers, measuring performance through key performance indicators in Procurement.
  • Participate in project analysis and carrier analysis in the Transportation and Warehouse Planning department.
  • Evaluate weekly co-packer discrepancy reports and update Replenishment Coordinator manuals and SOPs in Global Manufacturing Services.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate students who have completed at least two years of college coursework (rising Junior or rising Senior) while pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain or business logistics, or closely related discipline.
  • Aptitude and willingness to learn how to interface with different platforms, run reports, and engage with various company systems.
  • Ability and interest in working a hybrid schedule in Ewing, NJ.
  • Experience in Microsoft 365 applications required; some roles require experience in Power BI, Canva, Figma, TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
  • Experience managing multiple timelines and priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, desire to learn and contribute to a growing company.
  • Candidates must have US Work Authorization (US Citizen, permanent resident, green card holder).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management concepts and practices.
