About the position

The Corporate Development team at Adobe is focused on driving the company's inorganic growth through strategic acquisitions, divestitures, and investments. This role involves collaborating with various internal partners to identify and evaluate potential opportunities, conducting thorough analyses to support decision-making, and coordinating the M&A process. The position is ideal for an MBA student who is passionate about corporate development and eager to contribute to Adobe's mission of delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal teams to develop strategic investment themes and assess acquisition opportunities.
  • Identify product gaps and evaluate build/partner/buy strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses including industry TAMS, competitive landscapes, and financial models.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the M&A process, including due diligence and integration planning.
  • Establish a robust understanding of customer segments and market trends.
  • Support post-acquisition integration efforts and collaborate on various Corporate Development projects.
  • Develop an external network of industry specialists to gain insights into market trends.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program graduating between December 2024 - June 2025.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive self-starter attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • High emotional intelligence and business intuition.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience (4-5 years) in investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, or private equity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Excel macros, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Capital IQ and Pitchbook.

  • Competitive salary range of $81,600 -- $153,400 annually based on location and experience.
