About the position

Adobe is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who will leverage AI and machine learning techniques to tackle big-data challenges, enhancing the understanding and optimization of customer experiences. This role involves collaborating with various business units to develop products that address complex business problems throughout the customer lifecycle, from analytics to marketing media optimization. The engineer will engage in research and development projects that include attribution, media mix modeling, budget optimization, personalization, causal analysis, and time series analysis. The ideal candidate will possess a robust academic foundation and technical expertise in applied statistics, machine learning, data mining, and software development. Familiarity with large-scale datasets and big data techniques is advantageous. The role requires the development of predictive models using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques to solve diverse business problems. Additionally, the engineer will implement scalable algorithms suitable for production systems and collaborate with product management and engineering teams to innovate new products and features.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics, or equivalent experience required.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or data mining concepts, with a proven track record of problem-solving using these methods.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, and C.
  • Familiarity with machine learning or statistical modeling tools such as R, Matlab, and scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge and experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, demonstrating strong teamwork.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with big data techniques and tools.
  • Experience in developing products that utilize machine learning and statistical modeling.
