About the position

Adobe is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who will leverage AI and machine learning techniques to tackle big-data challenges, enhancing our understanding and optimization of customer experiences. This role involves collaborating with various business units to develop products that address complex business issues throughout the customer lifecycle, from analytics to marketing media optimization. The ideal candidate will engage in research and development projects that include attribution, media mix modeling, budget optimization, personalization, causal analysis, and time series analysis. The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for developing predictive models on large-scale datasets, utilizing advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques to solve business problems. This includes creating and implementing scalable algorithms that can operate efficiently within production systems. The role also requires close collaboration with product management and engineering teams to innovate and enhance product features. Candidates should possess a strong academic background and technical expertise in applied statistics, machine learning, data mining, and software development. Familiarity with large-scale datasets and big data techniques is advantageous. Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive models on large-scale datasets to address various business problems using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques.
  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient modeling algorithms that can work with large-scale data in production systems.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering groups to develop new products and features.

Requirements

  • PhD or MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics or equivalent experience required.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in specific skill/field(s).
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or data mining concepts, and a track record of solving problems with these methods.
  • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, and C.
  • Familiar with one or more machine learning or statistical modeling tools such as R, Matlab, and scikit-learn.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication, relationship skills, and a strong team player.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with big data techniques and tools.
  • Experience in customer analytics and marketing media optimization.
