The 2025 Cattle Sales Internship is a field-based position primarily located in Tennessee, with travel to other states in the Southeast region. This role is designed to actively support the sales strategy across various territories by coordinating and executing sales support activities. Interns will be involved in promoting and supporting the Animal Health product portfolio, which includes Bio-Pharma products, Allflex ID products, and livestock monitoring services. The intern will ensure that veterinarians, dealers, resellers, and livestock producers receive the necessary support in utilizing these products effectively. In addition to product support, the intern will provide logistical assistance for market field trials, collaborate with Sales and Tech Services, and develop plans to engage customers while addressing their needs. Participation in field-based events, such as trade shows and customer education sessions, will also be a key responsibility. Clear and timely communication, along with problem identification, will be essential in this role to ensure the success of sales initiatives. Candidates for this internship must be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Animal Science, Agribusiness, Veterinary School, or another Animal Health-related field, and have completed at least two years of college coursework by June 2025. The position requires candidates to be at least 20 years old to meet rental car agreement criteria, possess a valid driver's license, and be available for full-time work for 12 weeks starting May 19, 2025. The role also demands a significant amount of travel, estimated at 75%.
