About the position

The Markets Insights Programs are designed to attract undergraduates who are eligible for our 2026 Markets Summer Analyst Program and committed to the advancement of individuals from underrepresented groups in this industry. The Markets Insights Programs (Advancing Black Pathways, Advancing Hispanics & Latinos, and Winning Women), are seeking undergraduate students, including, without limitation, Black, Hispanic & Latino, and/or Female students, who are interested in exploring career opportunities at JPMorganChase. We are looking for dynamic individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to help us grow and position our businesses for the future. All undergraduate students who are interested in the Markets Insights Programs, regardless of background, are welcome to apply. The Markets Insights Programs will consist of business specific overviews and networking, followed by interviews for the 2026 Markets Summer Analyst Program. Our global Markets teams are active in all major financial markets and develop sophisticated financial solutions to help clients manage risk, increase returns and solve complex financial problems. Globally, we hold leadership positions across all major financial markets. This approach means you'll be part of a dynamic team, helping to solve a range of challenging and interesting business issues and will be challenged in your work. As an intern, you will join one of four tracks within Markets: Sales, Trading, Structuring & Origination or Digital Markets. Across all tracks, you'll support senior colleagues with important research, analysis and preparatory work. You will monitor markets, develop trade ideas, conduct portfolio reviews, and learn about the solutions and products we offer for clients to manage any market conditions. Your work and contributions will be valuable to the team from the start. Expert instructors and J.P. Morgan professionals will teach you about our history, the scale and scope of our organization today and our ambitious plans for tomorrow. We'll teach you technical and practical skills that will help you hit the ground running. The program is an opportunity to take your career to the next level through hands-on experience, relevant skills training and valuable professional networking. Based on your individual achievements, those who successfully complete the program may receive offers of full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior colleagues with important research, analysis and preparatory work.
  • Monitor markets and develop trade ideas.
  • Conduct portfolio reviews.
  • Learn about the solutions and products offered for clients to manage market conditions.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in global financial markets.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and interpretative skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
  • Being adaptable, flexible and resilient.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Attend college/university in the U.S.
  • Graduation date of December 2026 - June 2027 from a Bachelor's or Master's program.
  • Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
