About the position

The Network Engineer position at B4Corp is a Level 1 Subject Matter Expert role that requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance with a Polygraph. The candidate will work closely with instructors, students, management, and team management to develop a new wireless network, support the current wireless network, and manage two wired networks along with a testing and assessment network. The role involves preparing documentation to gain approval for System Security Plans (SSPs) and collaborating with learning enterprise partners. The candidate will be responsible for migrating all three networks to a new facility and documenting Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) activities. Additionally, the candidate will work with cloud migration technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, and administer computer networks while performing network architecture tasks. The candidate will also be involved in recommending new network technologies, collaborating with vendors, and performing network administration. Daily responsibilities include tending to the maintenance of networks, designing and configuring networks as needed, and coordinating network support from vendors. The candidate will actively participate in both internal and external meetings and assist in short-term and long-term network planning. Furthermore, the candidate will help the customer create a state-of-the-art network architecture and will be expected to brief management at various levels.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying wireless networks.
  • Demonstrated experience installing applications on Windows systems such as Servers and Desktops.
  • Demonstrated experience working with MECM.
  • Demonstrated experience with deployment task sequencing.
  • Demonstrated experience working with desktop and network hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience with the systems and network accreditation process.
  • Demonstrated experience with services such as Cisco Umbrella.
  • Demonstrated experience with Office products to develop and document network design.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cisco Meraki.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, and configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and wireless LAN controllers.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, and configuring a Windows Active Directory infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience working closely with vendors to create a bill of materials to meet requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying networks.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud technology in AWS and Azure.
