About the position

The Cyber Security Engineer position at B4Corp involves providing expert technical guidance and innovative solutions in cloud computing and security. The role requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance and focuses on analyzing customer requirements, identifying vulnerabilities in cloud configurations, and developing compliance monitoring strategies. The engineer will also create automation scripts and provide leadership to less experienced personnel, while maintaining knowledge of advancing technologies in the field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and provide technical expertise on cloud computing techniques and architectures.
• Identify vulnerabilities and risks associated with cloud misconfigurations.
• Define and update cloud security standards to minimize risks.
• Establish approaches to monitor compliance with cloud security standards.
• Develop scripts, terraform files, and/or Cloud Development Kits (CDK) for automated implementation of cloud configuration standards.
• Review and analyze cloud configuration compliance data for risk remediation strategies.
• Maintain current knowledge of progressive technology in the field.
• Provide expert guidance and leadership to less experienced personnel.
• Consult with executives and customers to deliver complex cloud development solutions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and cloud technologies.
• Demonstrated experience with one or more cloud vendors (Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle).
• Experience with enterprise cybersecurity management platforms.
• Ability to engineer and deploy IT capabilities effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in technical issue resolution.
• Working knowledge of information security policies and regulations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
