About the position

The Cyber Security Systems Engineer position at B4Corp is a critical role focused on supporting the customer's Division level Assessment and Authorization (A&A) projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cyber security, particularly in documentation and compliance related to security control implementations. This position requires a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance and involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the security and accreditation of systems within complex network environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the customer's Division level A&A projects across various branches.
• Document security control implementations and gather artifacts for Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ICD 503 Security Accreditation.
• Write Systems Security Plans (SSP) and other A&A related documents such as Contingency Plans and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Coordinate with contractor and staff personnel to obtain A&A content and navigate the A&A process for various authorities.
• Track the status of A&A projects and manage re-submissions for accreditation or extensions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 16 years of experience in cyber security.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred, but can be waived with relevant experience.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and effective communication abilities.
• Knowledge of complex network environments and security enclaves.
• Ability to translate technical implementation into understandable security documentation.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous ISSE or ISSO experience directly supporting the customer.
• Familiarity with security tools such as RoadRunner, Rapid 7, and Splunk.
• Experience with public, private, and hybrid Cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
• Basic knowledge of Cloud security control implementation and vulnerability management.
• CISSP or AWS Certified Security Specialty certification.
