About the position

The System Administrator 3 at InterImage, Inc. is responsible for supporting the design of systems and mission architecture, along with associated hardware. This role requires a deep understanding of system administration interdependencies within a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to server hardware and software integration.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of systems and mission architecture.
• Understand system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

Requirements

• Fifteen (15) years' experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level 2 is required.
• Five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with VMWARE and exposure to AWS.
• Linux system administration experience.
