The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) Teacher plays a vital role in the afterschool program, which is designed to enhance students' academic performance, attendance, behavior, promotion rates, and graduation rates. This part-time position requires the teacher to work 2.5 hours per day, four days a week, under the supervision of the 21st CCLC Site Coordinator. The teacher will be responsible for facilitating and leading various programs and activities that align with the center's policies and the overall goals of the 21st CCLC initiative. In this role, the teacher will maintain effective communication with the Site Coordinator and other school personnel, ensuring that all program requirements are met. The teacher will lead and participate in afterschool activities, engage in lesson planning, and collaborate with parents, students, and community members in a respectful and confidential manner. Additionally, the teacher will identify necessary supplies and resources, participate in professional development, and perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
