About the position

The position is for a Temporary Faculty Pool Lecturer in Broadcast and Digital Journalism at California State University, Fresno. Responsibilities

  • Adhere to university and system-wide policies as directed per Academic Policy Manual.
  • Demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in media, communications, journalism, or a related field with an emphasis in broadcast, multimedia, or digital journalism.
  • Experience in a professional-level news organization.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • A commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, evidenced through prior teaching experiences and evaluations.
  • Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
  • Experience with news video production and/or storytelling.
