About the position

Responsibilities

- Establish clear objectives for lessons and communicate them to students.
- Instruct students using various teaching methods to build engagement and collaboration.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs.
- Provide daily opportunities for students to engage in reasoning and discussions.
- Define and plan formative assessments to show evidence of learning.
- Provide meaningful feedback to students to promote involvement and progress.
- Analyze data and adjust instruction based on student achievement and observations.
- Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and resource needs.
- Collaborate with staff in support of student learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field.
- Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) teaching license in Physical Education (1530) and Adaptive Physical Education (1860).
- 1 year of teaching experience.
