About the position

The Madison Metropolitan School District is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Administrative Clerk Senior for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is responsible for supporting the implementation of the annual Summer Semester program and providing clerical support for Curriculum & Instruction. The role serves as a liaison with key departments and manages various administrative tasks, including enrollment systems, materials management, and budget support.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the annual Summer Semester program.
• Provide clerical support for Curriculum & Instruction.
• Serve as the liaison and main point of contact with key departments within MMSD.
• Manage the Summer Semester online enrollment system and materials system.
• Provide general administrative and secretarial support to the Summer Semester Office and Curriculum & Instruction.
• Oversee the dissemination and inventory of Summer Semester materials.
• Collaborate with Human Resources for the hiring process for Summer Semester.
• Schedule meetings and maintain appointment calendars for the Director of Summer Learning.
• Monitor the Summer Semester budget and manage purchasing cards.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
• Five years of successful experience in clerical job with data entry and office management responsibilities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual Spanish/English, fluency will be assessed.
• Experience running queries and manipulating data for graphical displays.
• Experience with basic project management tools and techniques.
