About the position

The Autism Teacher at Ann Soldo Elementary is responsible for providing specialized education to students with autism, adapting instruction to meet their unique needs. This role aims to inspire students to achieve their educational, social, emotional, and vocational goals, ensuring they lead fulfilling lives. The position requires collaboration with other educators and the incorporation of related services to support the educational development of each child.

Responsibilities

• Adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of students with autism.
• Inspire students to achieve their educational, social, emotional, and vocational goals.
• Collaborate with other educators and related service providers to support student needs.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Requirements

• Valid CA Credential for Special Education and CLAD/ELA (or equivalent).
• Mod/Severe Credential.
• Completed Edjoin Application.
