About the position
The First Grade Teacher at SVE is responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young students. This role involves planning and delivering educational lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support student development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging lessons for first-grade students.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and staff to support student learning and development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
