About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. The Truck Driver will operate various types of trucks, including flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, and tankers, ensuring timely delivery of freight.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo as needed, utilizing forklifts or other equipment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Manage routes efficiently to optimize delivery times while ensuring safety.
• Handle various types of trucks including flatbed, dump truck, roll-off truck, and refrigerated trailer as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
• Familiarity with flatbed trucking and route driving is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of handling different types of trucks such as dump trucks, tankers, and roll-off trucks.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience operating forklifts and other loading equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with flatbed trucking and route driving is preferred.
