About the position

The Associate Director (A.D.) role at CATCH, Inc. involves overseeing daily operations within a Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR) facility. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, budget management, and program development. The A.D. will lead staff, develop policies, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and foster community relations while promoting high-quality care for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and direction to staff members, including nurses, therapists, and support staff.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Supervises and evaluates staff performance, conducts regular staff meetings, and provides guidance and support to ensure high-quality care for residents.
  • Collaborates with CATCH's Mental Health Director and other team members to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of residents.
  • Assists in budget development and monitoring, including managing expenses, revenue generation, and financial reporting.
  • Ensures compliance with budgetary guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversees quality assurance and compliance activities, including conducting audits and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Collaborates with other departments to coordinate care and services for residents.
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration among team members to promote integrated care delivery.
  • Identifies and mitigates potential risks within the facility, including safety hazards and legal compliance issues.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with residents, families, community organizations, and regulatory agencies.
  • Acts as a liaison between the facility and external stakeholders to promote a positive reputation and foster partnerships.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to long-term care and mental health services.
  • Participates in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Develops and implements crisis intervention protocols and procedures to effectively manage emergency situations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in one of the Social Sciences.
  • At least five years of supervisory experience, with two years in management of a residential site.
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with outside agencies and regulatory officials.

Benefits
