About the position

The Program Support Analyst will have primary duties in both the Student Affairs (SA) Information Center and the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs (VCSA) Office. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, supporting the case management process for the behavioral management team, overseeing the Volunteer Applicant Screening process, managing complex budgets, and providing technical assistance for software applications. The position requires working evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (VCSA) Office and the Student Affairs (SA) Information Center.
  • Develop, implement, and improve operations and customer service processes throughout the Division of Student Affairs.
  • Engage in planning and evaluation utilizing data analytics to develop reports and recommendations.
  • Communicate with VCSA to implement aspects of the Student Affairs Action Plan and oversee customer support processes.
  • Work closely with departments in the Student Affairs Division to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Support the Volunteer Screening Process by reviewing background screening information.
  • Utilize Maxient for case management and triage processes.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and document them for strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and adhere to FERPA regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training on diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
  • Provide technical assistance in the implementation of software applications.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Review financial plans and manage complex budgets.
  • Hire, onboard, supervise, and evaluate assigned classified professional staff.
  • Manage professional conduct of assigned classified staff and collaborate with Employee Relations.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, equity, access, and student success.
  • Serve on District committees and attend Board of Trustees' meetings.
  • Participate in professional development related to job duties.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) years of professional experience in a general administrative capacity, with two (2) years in the field of human services.
  • Possession of a valid California driver license may be required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of CCSF District organization, operations, policies, and objectives.
  • Experience in managing a dynamic call center and coordinating a student intake process.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce comprehensive reports.
  • Strong technical skills including knowledge of relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and oral form.
  • Demonstrated understanding of diverse student populations in a higher education setting.
