About the position
EnviroPAK, for nearly 30 years, has been a premier manufacturer of molded pulp packaging creating sustainable, environmentally friendly packaging. Our custom-molded fiber is cost-effective, space-saving, and engineered to protect our client's products while making a positive difference. The position of Assembly Packer Stacker is a full-time, direct hire role on the 2nd shift, which runs from 4:30 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday, allowing for a 3-day weekend off. The pay is $15.00/hour plus a monthly performance bonus. Employees are encouraged to join a collaborative team environment that promotes from within, with opportunities for advancement from Level I Associates to Supervisors, Managers, and Leaders of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Collect and sort products while standing by the conveyor line from machines running at different speeds.
- Operate a machine press.
- Count products to the correct row amounts, according to the pallet specification sheet for the orders.
- Perform visual quality inspections of product and remove non-quality parts to meet quality inspection standards to ensure that only high-quality product is palletized.
- Construct uniform pallets with the correct pallet counts and pallet tags for each unique part number.
- Perform secondary duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- VOLUNTARY overtime is regularly offered.
Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to meet individual/position-specific hourly production goals.
- Work collaboratively with PAK members by rotating stations and meeting production goals of several line positions within a shift.
- Meet the company's quality inspection standards.
- Able to stand and lift under 40 pounds or less.
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled work environment.
