2nd Shift Diesel Mechanic

Waste Connections is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Memphis, TN. This role involves performing repairs and preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on trucks and equipment, including electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance services as assigned.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, parts usage, and repair times.
• Review and complete repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
