2nd Shift Forklift Operator

About the position

As a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, focusing on shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. This full-time position requires you to work from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, ensuring that stock is moved efficiently and safely within the warehouse environment. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and equipment, performing daily inspections, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse
• Load and unload trucks, stack and store products in the appropriate areas
• Perform daily inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet production goals
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Certification
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Strong materials handling skills
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on forklifts and other equipment
• Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts, such as clamp trucks and order pickers
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order fulfillment
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes
