About the position
The Maintenance Technician at TE Connectivity is responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure their optimal operation and longevity. This role involves adhering to safety policies and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position requires access to sensitive information and is designated for U.S. citizens or lawful residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by creating and completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Perform mechanical skills including troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Utilize knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates degree preferred in Electrical or Mechanical.
- 2+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical (low & high voltage), and electronic skills.
- PLC knowledge with programming skills is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations for industrial warehouse environment.
