About the position
Atkore is seeking General Laborers for our Phoenix, AZ facility. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient bundling of products using banding tools and other equipment to complete production tasks. The General Laborer will report directly to the shift supervisor and will be a key member of the production team, responsible for communicating any issues that arise during production to maintain quality standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive and work with urgency while adhering to Atkore's safety and quality guidelines. In this position, you will be required to read and understand detailed work orders, which is crucial for meeting customer demands and maintaining high standards of production. You will also be responsible for accurately completing required production and labor reporting paperwork. The role demands a professional attitude and a commitment to compliance with all company policies and procedures. Within the first three months, you will complete initial training and develop the ability to troubleshoot production issues effectively. You will assist the production team with changeovers, set-ups, and quality control inspections, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. Requirements
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read tape measures and use hand tools.
- Ability to handle products and lift up to 40lbs.
